Custom fields
Custom fields let you capture data Dynition doesn't track out of the box, like an account number, a region, or a preferred carrier, on your records. Define them under Settings → Custom fields.
How they work
- Create a field, give it a type (text, number, date, and so on), and choose what it applies to. Custom fields can be added to companies, contacts, addresses, orders, products, and quotes.
- The field then appears on those records for your team to fill in.
Custom fields are a workspace-wide setting: define a field once and it's available everywhere that record type appears.
